10 New Sightseeing Routes in Bai Tu Long Bay, Quang Ninh

Bai Tu Long Bay is renowned for its stunning beauty and remains less crowded than its more famous neighbor, Ha Long Bay. To experience this hidden gem, you have several options:

Recently, The People’s Committee of Quang Ninh Province has just issued a decision to announce new sightseeing and tourism routes in Bai Tu Long Bay, including 10 separate routes:

  • Route 1: Ao Tien Port – Tay Hoi Island – Lucky Cat Island (Lazy Cat Island) – Ban Sen Island – Nha Tro Cave
  • Route 2: Ao Tien Port – Phat Co Cave – Pearl Farming Area (Black Stone Island) – Lao Vong Sluice – Chopstick Island (Umbrella Island) – Minh Chau Island
  • Route 3: Ao Tien Port – Hon Xep Park
  • Route 4: Ao Tien Port – Lao Vong Fishing Village – Large Tra Ngo Island – Swan Island
  • Route 5: Ao Tien Port – Cai De Area – Mang Ha Overnight Anchorage Point
  • Route 6: Ao Tien Port – Tra Than Bay (Large Tra Ngo Island) – Cai Lim Beach – Mang Ha Overnight Anchorage Point – Cai De Area
  • Route 7: Cam Pha – Luong Ngoc Beach – Vung Duc – Ong Cu Island – Reu Island – Cua Ong
  • Route 8: Cam Pha – Luong Ngoc Beach – Vung Duc – Ong Cu Island – Reu Island – Cua Ong – Tay Hoi Island – Ban Sen
  • Route 9: Vung Duc Port – Cua Ong – Reu Island – Ong Cu Island – Vung Duc – Luong Ngoc Beach – Ngoc Vung Island – Thang Loi Island – Quan Lan Island – Minh Chau Island
  • Route 10: Vung Duc Port – Hon Xep Park

Additionally, Quang Ninh Province also allows three interconnected sightseeing routes between Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay to expand the tourism space. The province expects these routes and attractions to create new products for locals and tourists while ensuring sustainable development linked to the preservation and enhancement of the values recognized by UNESCO for Ha Long Bay.

Bai Tu Long Bay covers nearly 160 square kilometers with hundreds of large and small islands featuring pristine beauty and a system of beautiful, mysterious caves. Bai Tu Long National Park, established in 2001 with 6,125 hectares of island area and 9,658 hectares of sea surface area, became the 38th ASEAN Heritage Park in 2017.
