Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By making a booking online, via email, by phone, or through our authorized partners, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all persons in your booking party.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all shared cruises and charter cruises operated by Bai Tho Junks.

Deposit & Balance Payment

• A deposit of 50% of the total cruise price or full payment are required to secure your booking, depending on the cruise program and season.
• For last-minute bookings or peak travel periods, full payment may be required at the time of confirmation.
• The remaining balance must be settled at least 03 days prior to the departure date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Failure to complete payment by the required deadline may result in automatic cancellation of the booking without prior notice.
• Once a deposit is received, it is understood that you have accepted all Terms & Conditions stated herein.

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Secure online payment via credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, and other major cards)
• Bank transfer
• Cash payment (VND or USD)

For online card payments, a service processing fee (approximately 3% – 4%) may apply and is not included in the advertised price. A secure payment link will be sent once your booking details are finalized.

Passenger Information Requirements

In accordance with Vietnamese port authority regulations, guests must provide full passenger details at least 24 hours prior to departure, including:

• Full name (as in passport)
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Nationality
• Passport number
• Visa details and expiry date (if applicable)
• Contact number

Failure to provide complete and accurate information may result in denied boarding by port authorities, for which Bai Tho Junks shall not be held responsible.

Personal Property & Belongings

Guests are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings at all times.

During transfer and embarkation, luggage is handled by our staff. However, valuable, fragile, or perishable items including but not limited to:

• Cash
• Passports
• Electronic devices (laptops, mobile phones, tablets, cameras)
• Jewelry

must be kept in your hand luggage.

Bai Tho Junks shall not be liable for any loss or damage to valuables stored in checked luggage. While onboard, valuables may be deposited at the reception upon request. Please ensure a written acknowledgment is provided. Any loss or damage must be reported immediately to the Cruise Manager. Liability for personal belongings is limited under applicable Vietnamese maritime regulations.

Guest Liability for Damage

Guests are required to use all facilities, equipment, and property onboard responsibly and with due care.

In the event of loss or damage caused by a guest, a written damage report will be prepared. The guest shall be liable for compensation based on the current replacement cost.

All guests must comply with onboard safety instructions, fire safety regulations, hygiene standards, and public order rules.

Itinerary Changes & Force Majeure

Cruise itineraries are subject to change without prior notice due to:

• Weather conditions
• Tidal conditions
• Port authority regulations
• Safety considerations
• Force majeure events beyond our control

Bai Tho Junks reserves the right to adjust or cancel services in the interest of passenger safety. No refund will be provided for unused services resulting from force majeure circumstances.

Insurance

• Passenger insurance is provided onboard as required by Vietnamese law and covers basic accident protection only.
• We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to traveling to Vietnam and joining the cruise.
• Bai Tho Junks shall not be responsible for personal injury, illness, loss, or damage beyond the coverage required by local regulations.

Health & Medical Conditions

Guests must inform us in advance of any:

• Food allergies
• Medical conditions
• Mobility limitations
• Pregnancy (particularly beyond 24 weeks)

Failure to disclose relevant health conditions may result in refusal of boarding for safety reasons.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any disputes arising in connection with services provided by Bai Tho Junks shall be resolved under Vietnamese jurisdiction.
